Milwood Little League offers several divisions for baseball and softball based on ages starting at age 4. Players ages 11-13 can play in multiple divisions (either majors and intermediate or intermediate and juniors) depending on their league age.

SEASON SCHEDULE - Division-specific schedules coming soon!

PRACTICES begin the week of April 6.
Coaches set their practice schedule based on field and personal availability. Every division meets 2x/week for practices in the evening. Practice start times may vary but are typically no earlier than 5:30 PM and last 1 - 2 hours depending on the level of play.

GAMES start the week of April 27.
Tee ball and Minors divisions play 1 - 2 evening games/week, rotating opposition against other Milwood teams in the same division. Game days may vary and are based on field availability and the number of teams within the division. Head Coaches within these divisions may choose to opt in for one additional week of practices and begin games the week of May 2.

Little Majors, Majors, 50/70, and Junior divisions play two (2) evening games/week. Games start at 6:00 PM unless otherwise noted. Based on final team numbers, any of these divisions may be involved in interleague play between other leagues within District 2. Interleague play begins the week of April 27 and may require travel to other local little league fields.

Little Majors and 50/70 divisions play at Milwood on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Majors and Juniors divisions play at Milwood on Mondays and Wednesdays

[PLEASE NOTE: interleague play may dictate a different schedule than the above]

PLAYER EVALUATIONS - Little Majors, Majors, 50/70, and Junior divisions ONLY

Baseball and Softball players in the Little Majors, Majors, 50/70, and Juniors divisions will partake in player evaluations on SATURDAY, MARCH 7 in the Loy Norrix gym. Times will be assigned by division but please preemptively set aside the morning to accommodate these evals. The teams in these divisions are created through a draft process between the Managers within each division. Players participating in Evaluations will have the chance to show the coaching staff their current skillset prior to the draft.

Evaluations are FREE for all players registered for the 2026 season. Players MUST already be registered for the 2026 season to participate in the draft. Division schedules, eval registration, and additional information will be available in the coming weeks.

WHAT YOUR PLAYER NEEDS FOR THE SEASON
Players only need to bring a glove to practices and games; baseball cleats are strongly recommended.

While many players also bring their own helmets and bats, the league will provide all teams with sets of equipment to be used by players throughout the season. Milwood Little League also supports an Equipment Swap program where various donated equipment (new and used) are available to all players on a first-come-first-serve basis. Equipment includes: baseball/softball pants and cleats, sports socks and jerseys, gloves, bats, and more.

Baseball players ages 9+ must wear a protective cup.
